Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

angela h = "Happiness is what you will find if you look in the dictionary for blessed, but blessed goes much deeper than just being happy. Happiness is temporal. We can be happy one minute then sad the next. Being blessed is having the joy and peace of Christ...knowing that no matter what happens in this lifetime that we have a relationship with God and we will live eternally with Him. We are blessed not to hang out with wicked people because if we did hang out with ungodly people then we would damage our relationship with the Lord. "
Cary W = "When we delight in God and His Words, Ways and Laws and actually keep them in our awareness throughout the day, He is able to bless and prosper us in every way to His Glory!"
angela h = "Delighting in God's law is knowing that God made the law to protect us. Much like when parents make rules for their children. The rules are not to keep them from having fun or being independent, but to keep them safe. We tell them not to talk to strangers. This is because we know not all stranger have honorable intentions for them, not because we don't want them to make new friends.Meditating on the law day and night is taking the law into account in all aspects of our lives. Being very careful not to  transgress against God or others, which in turn brings unhappiness into our own life because it causes our relationships to be damaged."
Sara Di Diego = "This was all the books written up to this time, mainly Moses' writings: the first 5 books of the bible.Work Cited:http://www.biblestudytools.com/commentaries/jamieson-fausset-brown/psalms-1-75/psalms-1.html"
angela h = "We are the tree here and God is the water. Here again keeping a close relationship. We will act like who we hang out with. Well, if we are hanging out with God then we will have fruit. Our fruit can be manifest in many different ways. It can be our service to God and to others or it can be having children who are close to God and serving Him. There are many, many other ways we can have fruit. Our leaf not withering is simply our eternal life with Jesus Christ. Everyone has eternal life, but the ungodly will be going to hell where their leaves will surely wither. Us prospering in all we do doesn't promise that life will be all fortune and fun. This means that our souls will prosper and that we will impact others' lives in a way that points them toward God,"
Sara Di Diego = "This is a continuation to Jeremiah 17:8."
angela h = "Here this psalm changes tone. This is a warning to the ungodly. Chaff is the unusable part of wheat. When wheat is sifted the chaff is taken away with the wind never again to be seen or remembered."
angela h = "This is like saying the ungodly will not have a leg to stand on in the judgment. When they are judged God will put them out of the congregation for eternity. Many people think of hell as a place of fire and torment, which is true and biblical. However, the worst part of hell will be the absence of God. As long as the wicked are alive on this earth and have breath in their bodies, they still have a chance to reconcile with The Father. Once the life on this earth is over the choice is made and cannot be reversed."
angela h = "The Lord always knows everything about everybody. There is nothing hidden from Him. See Hebrews 4:13 and Psalm 139This death (perishing) is the spiritual death of being separated from God for eternity. "
