Q: What is the significance of the number nine in the Baha'i Faith? A: Multiples of the number nine are featured in Baha'i Houses of Worship, which have nine sides, nine entrances, and nine gardens. There are nine members in each elected Baha'i governing body. The number nine, the highest single digit, represents unity, perfection and completion. It is derived from the numeric equivalent of the letters B-A-H-A, meaning "glory" in Arabic.
