In my study of the Bible's heroes of faith I have to wonder if any today’s Christians would welcome them. Moses, a man with a really bad temper, he killed a man because of it, destroyed the tablets, was not not permitted to enter the promise land. Then some people would whipper that he was married to a Ethiopian woman. King David, a man who has a wondering eye, and he likes to dance. John the Baptist, great preacher, but he dress funny and has a odd diet. The Apostle Paul, a great writer kind of gets personal and not a good preacher or dose not look good. Jesus Christ, well look at all those undesirable people he always hanging around with, and he pretty hard on the way we run the church. It reminds what we are told in Isaiah 55: 8-9. We are always thinking we know what God wants and how he should do things. There are many other passages in the Bible that leads me to believe that if they where done today how many Christians would condemn the actions.
