Invite someone to church... By Pastor Bobby Schuller "...not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." -Hebrews 10:25 In regards to sharing your faith, if you're thinking, "I find it hard to pray with someone, I feel awkward doing works of love, I'm too busy, and, honestly, I'm just not going to be a quiet, listening presence, if that's not for you, then do this: Invite someone to church. Look, you invite people to things all the time - to your house for dinner, to the movies. Promise someone that you'll take him or her out to your favorite restaurant. Just say, "Hey, why don't you come to church with me?" Ninety percent of people that don't go to church would go if you invited them. Let us do the work! Look, one of the reasons we have church is because sometimes it's better to have a third party engage your friends about faith. But first, you need to invite them to church. Prayer: Dear Lord, give me the courage to invite people to join me at church. Put a burden in my heart for the ones you want me to invite into your house of love and prayer. Amen.

1 Sarah R = "Church is important. We need a church community to help encourage us, build us up, teach us, and disciple us. When we try to be a Christian on our own, we will struggle and fail. "No man is an island." No soldier goes into battle alone. We need one another."
2 Sarah R = "Hopefully you are part of a church that is welcome to seekers and non-Christians regardless of where they are in their life. Paul said that it is not our job to judge those outside of the church (1 Cor 5:21). After all, we were all non-Christians before coming to Christ, some of us for longer than others. Paul also said in Romans 1013 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Therefore, let us bring people to church, that they might hear and believe."
3 Sarah R = "God will bring people to mind when we pray something like this. We may see them in a dream, or we may be doing our thing, thinking about something else, and suddenly something will remind of of that person. We should not ignore when God brings someone to our mind, but follow through."
