2 Michael McKissick = "In saying this, Pope Francis was quoting the Lumen Gentium. "But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Muslims, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God.""
3 Robert A = "While the Muslims will certainly claim to follow the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, what they actually believe ABOUT their version of this God (Judeo-Christianity's "Yahweh") is far from the same al-ilah (aka "allah", literally "the god") of Islam. First of all, the name, the God of the Jews tells us what His name is, and always will be, and that the only thing He holds above His Holy Name (Yahweh, translated to "I Am") is His Holy Word, which brings up point #2. Musllims believe that there was a messenger sent to "all people of times past" and yet the only prophets that they give names to were Jewish, and to make matters worse, they believe that God's Holy Word falls in to disrepeair (that Jesus came to correct the previous Scripture and that Muhammad came to finalize and correct all other errors that have crept into God's "previous" revelations. But this blatantly violates what God promises the prophet Isaiah in the 59th chapter of his book .... "As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants--from this time on and forever," says the LORD." which, the last time I checked, the 600 years between Jesus and Muhammad was included in the time frame "from this time on and forever"So, the Muslims can claim to follow the same God all they want, but they don't use His Holy Name, and they certainly don't believe a single Holy Word that He has ever said, before supposedly giving his "final" revelation to an illiterate Arab who had only limited experience and influence with the Jews and Christians outside of the Arabian desert - which is probably why his (Muhammad's) book claims that the Christians believe Mary was part of the trinity, which was never part of any Christian sects creed, ever!"

They said: "We shall worship Thy God and the God of thy fathers,— Of Abraham, Ismā'īl, and Isaac,— The One (True) God: To Him we bow (in Islam)" Read the entire Chapter here on Deily."
