1 Sarah R = "This is an interesting portrait of Jesus. He looks quite young. We don't know what Jesus looked like, but we do know He looked like any other typical Jewish man of the Middle East at the time. It is also likely that He was not particularly attractive, as prophecy stated that "nothing in His appearance" was that we "should desire Him" (Isaiah 53:2). For a look at what Jesus may have looked like, and why, see: http://www.differentspirit.org/"
2 Sarah R = "Many theologians believe that Jesus' 12 disciples were all young men, with Peter perhaps the oldest and John the youngest. The reason for this is because of multiple factors: common tradition of the time was for a rabbi to have disciples starting in their teens; when questioned about the temple tax Jesus provided it only for Himself and Peter, perhaps because they were the only two old enough to pay it; and because John lived to around 85-90AD. There are other reasons as well, but these are the three main. "
3 Sarah R = "We are told that after Jesus' ascension the disciples and Jesus' followers were "all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers" (Acts 1:14)."
