2 Sarah R = "Some of my favorite quotes from Mother Teresa (there are so many):"I see Jesus in every human being. I say to myself, this is hungry Jesus, I must feed him. This is sick Jesus. This one has leprosy or gangrene; I must wash him and tend to him. I serve because I love Jesus.""If we pray, we will believe; If we believe, we will love; If we love, we will serve.""I’m just a little pencil in the hand of a writing God sending a love letter to the world.""Spread the love of God through your life but only use words when necessary.""
3 Yaakov ben Chaim Tzvi = "It's also interesting to note that Mother Teresa did not believe in Jesus for the latter part of her life. Here was a woman who dedicated her life to doing acts of kindness for others and treating everyone with respect. If "faith alone" would have been enough, then the tens of thousands of people that this saintly woman nurtured would have starved to death. It was only because of her actions that she saved so many people. She doubted the existence of Jesus because she realized that God is more than a mere mortal of flesh and blood, she recognized that all people have access to God regardless of what religion they claim to be. Here is Mother Teresa in her own words:Whether you are a Hindu, a Moslem or a Christian, how you live your life is the proof that you are fully his or not. We must not condemn or judge or pass words that will hurt people. Maybe a person has never heard of Christianity. We do not know what way God is appearing to that soul and what way God is drawing that soul, and therefore who are we to condemn anybody? It matters to the individual what church he belongs to. If that individual thinks and believes that this is the only way to God for her or him, this is the way God comes into their life — his life. If he does not know any other way and if he has no doubt so that he does not need to search then this is his way to salvation. This is the way God comes into his life. Life in the Spirit: Reflections, Meditations and Prayers Book: by Mother Teresa entitled: Life in the Spirit: Reflections, Meditations and Prayers. p82 Published: July 1983.------------------------I love all religions. ... If people become better Hindus, better Muslims, better Buddhists by our acts of love, then there is something else growing there.” She upheld that there are many ways to God': “All is God--Buddists, Hindus, Christians, etc., all have access to the same God.”Time pp 11, 13. Dated: 4th December 1989She was truly a remarkable human being... "
4 Sarah R = "Mother Teresa did not work for earthly rewards but for heavenly ones, which certainly she is now enjoying. Her way of loving people as Jesus did was contagious and inspiring."
