The Western Wall (aka the Wailing Wall)

1 Deena E = "It amazes me to see the accumulation of written prayers to YHWH in the crevices between the stones."
2 Yaakov ben Chaim Tzvi = "The Kotel, (Western/Wailing Wall) is the physical connection which the Jewish people have to the land of Israel and the Holy Temple, and which scripture explicitly states will be rebuilt again in the Messianic age. This wall has heard the cries and prayers of the Jewish nation through our exile and prophetic return to our homeland. It's more than a wall, it's a home where Jews from all around the world for 2,000 years have poured out their hearts and souls to God and to which we turn 3 times a day during our prayers. I have been to the Kotel on multiple occasions and the feeling of closeness to God and to his temple never leaves even when we do. A place where one must visit at least once in their lifetime."
