Hello my name is Jessica Garza and I am the Marketing Associate with Deily. I graduated from Texas State University- San Marcos with my B.S. in Family and Child Development. For the past 7 years I have spent my time working with non profit organizations such as The Arc of the Capital Area, Easter Seals of Central Texas and Open Door Preschool as an outreach coordinator, early childhood interventionist and family educator . In these positions, I provided an academic, social, and psychological support structure to the children, parents, and educators within these organizations. Being raised in the Catholic church and following all the necessary sacraments, I never had the opportunity to be exposed to additional religions. However, once I began my college career, I was fortunate enough to learn the different cultures and religious backgrounds of families I was working with. From there, I began developing bonds with these families, which then lead to relationships and with relationships came respect. As I became more educated, I began to explore my own identity with religion, particularly with a Buddhist spiritual mind set. I am a promoter of peace, love and learning. It is for these reasons I feel Deily is a fit for my religious ambitions. I look forward to growing and networking with fellow members on a more deeper level.
