Wasn’t aware that God has a vote. Is God a U.S. citizen? I smell voter fraud.

  • flambeau608

So God’s real name is Sheldon Adelson? or is it one of the other billionaires who bought this election for Scottie?

  • ricksta

He wants to thank them for their prayers, but mostly for the money they are about contribute.

Since when did God become a union buster! God was a radical when he was on earth that is why they killed him. Walker represents the same people that strung up Jesus Christ. God must really like your cuts in education and to the poor too? Walker is a fool and the only people that aren’t inherently rich that support him are the ones that love to live on their hands and knees and believe they are genetically inferior to people like the Koch brothers. The wealthy are really laughing how they pulled this one off, everyone sacrifices but the wealthy. This was a victory of the appeasing simpletons over the educated people of character. God is no union buster!!

He is not thanking God for his win, he is just paying homage for God’s grace in general. If any of you had any idea about how religion actually works rather than your narrow-minded perceptions of all things God, you might understand.

Ew, ew, ew…so tired of seeing God used as a tool of narcissism.

    Shut up, you arrogant prat.

  • bretza

We can tell your not an intellectual. Simple minded Tom Foolery and religious hypocrisy.

I guess Scott Walker hasn’t read the Bible and its condemnation of rich people withholding goods from poor people. I don’t he has the right to invoke the name of the Christian as supporting him, since he apparently is helping to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

  • educationlover54

    Let me re-phrase that:

I don’t believe he has the right to invoke the name of the Christian God as supporting him, since he apparently is helping to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Maybe you haven’t read Jesus’ words about the poor, the very people Walker despises. Walker can’t talk about Jesus or God when he opposes the interests of the very people Jesus and God love.

    Matthew 19

16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life ?”

17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

    18 “Which ones?” he inquired.

Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[c] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”

20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”

21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

    Luke 16

19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

I wonder if Governor Walker would mind repeating this scripture to Diane Hendricks.

  • educationlover54

I wonder if Governor Scott would mind repeating this story to the Koch Brothers and his other rich supporters.

  • lifelessons

Unless the Koch brothers are his god, he’s thanking the wrong people. Buying an election deprives the public of their right to an honest and fair, and truthful election, This was not “Free of lies” and thanks to the Koch brothers pouring millions into that state to purchase commercials of repeated lies to uphold this Koch brothers puppet to do their bidding. It is no secret the brothers will pay anything to get regulations lifted on pollution laws, so they can pollute at will and pay no taxes. Nothing about this is about “god”…and nothing about this election was right or fair. I just can’t wait for Walker to finally be arrested. Really, how many Governors have a criminal defense account started??

  • lifelessons

Perhaps Walker thinks the Koch brothers are gods as they put him in office to begin with, they have an agenda of Union busting, minimum wage ending and having all pollution regulations be lifted so these wealthy criminals can buy the rights to pollute water, air and land and kill people poisoned by their pollution with no problems.God has nothing to do with Walkers bought election, or his criminal activities but perhaps the christian’s Satan would..Let’s just hope he goes to jail sonner then later for everyones sake. Unless the Koch brothers buy him out of this too as these guys did Tom Delay who helped the casino owners get what they wanted with a phone cal to his private number, This ended the casino regulations, because they’d purchased Delay too.
