Online Training Conference for Pastors and Other Church Leaders in the Philippines this December

I’m excited to share that I get to share the privilege of teaching in the Philippines. Though I’d love to visit the Philippines someday, I get to participate in this conference without even getting on a plane! Hosted by iDisciple PHILIPPINES, this online conference is entitled, “GOSPEL HOLINESS: Living a Life Distinct from the World.”

This conference aims to unpack several key Bible passages about the holiness of God and what that means for his chosen people — the Church. We will also look at the Gospel and its implications for Christians who are called to pursue Christ-likeness in their lives. Here’s what the conference flyer says:

We are inviting pastors, preachers, church and ministry leaders, church workers, young professionals, and college students to join us on these dates for 11 plenary sessions and 12 breakout modules. Let us all be equipped not only to teach and preach these difficult but glorious implications of the Gospel, but also that we might ourselves be sanctified through the Word of Truth.

If you know anyone in the Philippines who might be interested please help us spread the word.

Christian Nationalism is a form of self-righteousness. It’s a spirituality that blends Colonialism and Manifest Destiny. It convinces people that the land, resources, and lives of outsiders exist to serve their desires and wealth. Adherents of Christian Nationalism assume they and “their” country can take the lives and possessions of others without any objection or […]
Pollution is the largest environmental cause of disease and premature death in the world. For example, according to a recent study in the journal Environmental Research, 10.3 million premature deaths annually are attributable to outdoor air pollution.
