Ben N = "To understand scripture to the fullest, we need to understand the cultural and historical context in which it was written. We must try to determine the meaning and intent of the original writer, and then to interpret and apply that message to our own life and circumstances."
Cary W = "Dear Father, please forgive each one of us for allowing anything or anyone to distract us from pure devotion to You and your laws.  May You grant us new hearts and upright spirits that seek You alone, that You may be established in the place of our dwelling.  Amen."
Cary W = "The millions of Americans who suffered through wars, battles, violence, and death have only one single hope:  the love that remains because they lived, loved and gave of themselves so that others may be free, safe and blessed.  Mahalo dear brethren."
Ben N = "The statement about North and South America is grossly oversimplified, if not completely untrue. And the statement that the U.S. is a Christian nation goes against one of the most precious values, and most central pillars of American society: freedom of religion. Many of the early settlers were fleeing from state oppression, which imposed a certain religious belief upon them. We must always remember that, and not allow our nation to become that which our ancestors were fleeing from."
Cary W = "We are given the task as Christians to live as God wills, holy lives, sanctified unto Him, a fragrant offering."
