Be with us this day and in the times to come As we work together for full equality in marriage and in society. Divine that is Freedom, We call to You, We honor You, We attune to You. We know you by many names and in many ways. Today, we draw inspiration and guidance from You As Columbia, Libertas, Lady Liberty, Goddess of Freedom, As your iconic statue atop the Capitol looks upon us, this city, and this Nation, We embody your spirit as we gather here and as we march to the steps of Our Nation’s Supreme Court. Spirit of America, We call to You, We honor You, We attune to You. Be with us this day and in the times to come. Strengthen our resolve and our collaboration. And guide us as we work together for Equality, and for Liberty, and Justice for All One of the invocations & prayers that opened A Prayer for Love & Justice National Interfaith Service for Marriage Equality held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Lutheran Church of the Reformation Capitol Hill in Washington, DC
