1Cary W = "It is a true axiom to state that whatever we focus and dwell on grows in us, and we become like that which we hold with affection. This prayer then, is such means, to put away the image of man, of death, sickness, dying and decay, and remember our God given gift to be joined to Him, uncovering His likeness in our vision and person:Eternal, absolute, one and only, begotten not for always is, was, and is to come. None like Him."
2Sahil B = "The Sura al-Ikhlas is regarded as a very significant Sura in the Quran; some traditions state that the recitation of the Sura is equivalent to reciting 1/6 of the Quran. More importantly, the Sura speaks about the nature of God in Islam as understood by the complex theological doctrine:tawhid. The First Pillar of Islam known as the Shahada; "The is no god but God; Muhammad is God's messenger" is only the starting point in the doctrine of tawhid. Tawhid can be defined as God's Oneness or Unity. In order words, there can be no division between Creator and Creation. "The relationship between God and creation is like that between 'light and the
lamp that emits it.' One God; one Creation. One God. One God."-No god but God, Reza Alsan, Chapter 6"
