He will not leave you or forsake you.” Romans 5:2-5 ESV Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Psalm 39:7 ESV “And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you. Isaiah 40:31 ESV But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 41:10 ESV Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Mark 9:23 ESV And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! Romans 8:24 ESV For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? Proverbs 23:18 ESV Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 10:28 ESV The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish. Romans 8:25 ESV But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Sarah R = "A Christian’s definition of hope is far superior to that of the world.  Instead of wishing or hoping for something to happen, a believer knows that their hope is solid, concrete evidence because it is grounded in the Word of God and we know that God cannot lie (Heb 6:18; Num 23:19).  The Christian has a hope that is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Heb 11:1).  It is a hope that is like faith…a faith that cannot be moved by circumstances or what the eyes see because an unseen God is seen in His faithfulness.See full article: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/christiancrier/2014/05/26/what-is-the-biblical-or-christian-definition-of-hope/"
Cary W = "As we really surrender in complete trust and belief, the God of all hope will fill us with evidence of that hope in form of joy and peace, springing up like a river from within.  That witness opens the way for the power of the Holy Spirit to make our hope expand, abound and shower upon all things and beings in our life."
Sarah R = "Scripture Link: Hebrews 13:5, "Your lives should be untainted by love for money. Be content with what you have; for God Himself has said, "I will never, never let go your hand: I will never never forsake you.""
Cary W = "Since all things are possible in God, we who are made in His likeness shall also be given opportunities to demonstrate the unlimited power and endurance of immutability and transcendence."
Melissa Ramage = "During our last Bible Study we discussed this and to read it here made my spirit leap with joy! I knew I made right choice to explore silly to further my journey to a stronger personal relationship with my Lord and Savior.  Thank you for adding this. "
Cary W = "When ever we allow any fear or doubt, big or small to be entertained and pondered, we simply block the flow of divine grace and power God is always showering upon any who believe.  The eyes of God continually search the world over looking for even one who seeks and believes in God's nearness, power and strength."
Sarah R = "This does not mean that Christianity is a blind faith. On the contrary, there is ample evidence to support Christianity's claims: evidence in creation around us, evidence of logic & reason, evidence of archaeology & textual criticism, evidence from extra-biblical sources and non-Christian sources. Few people come to faith based on the presentation of the evidence, but once God has touched us and we believe, we can be assured that our faith is not in vain."
