Here's another great resource on the Pali Canon. The Pali Canon is the oldest collection of Buddhist texts. I'll write more on the Pali Canon soon, but it's akin to what is called the Old Testament in Christianity in that the Pali Canon is the oldest collection of Buddhist texts that all schools of Buddhism follow at least somewhat. Pali is a dialect of Sanskrit. If someone is new to Buddhism and wanting to learn more about Buddhist philosophy and meditation I probably wouldn't recommend going to the Pali Canon first, as it is very complex and vast. But, for those looking for Pali Canon translations another great resource is: http://www.accesstoinsight.org. Access to Insight has tons of free translations, a glossary, explanatory articles etc. I use this site a lot in my own work. Check it out and let me know what you think. In the dharma, David
