1 Shawn Bose = "The congregation here is reciting the Nicene Creed. The Nicene Creed, or Symbol of Faith, was written by the First Ecumenical Council at Nicaea in 325 C.E., with additions (the 3rd paragraph and following) by the first Council of Constantinople (381 C.E.)You can read it in full as well as comments from Deily members on it here."

5 Kelly Fanning = "If you are not Catholic but want to come to Mass, please do! Enakshi's link about how to visit a Catholic Mass provides great information. I would add that non-Catholics who feel uncomfortable remaining in the pew while the congregation goes to communion are welcome to come through the communion line to receive a blessing from the priest. All you need to do is fold your arms across your chest to indicate that you are not receiving the Eucharist, and the priest will instead give you a blessing. It is appropriate to say, "Amen," after the blessing. Then simply return to your place in the pew."
